During third quarter, 8th graders will continue the exploration of the world of chemistry! We will take a closer look at all the matter in the world around us and investigate the chemical composition of these substances. 7th grade student will finish their chemistry unit with an investigation of the chemistry of fireworks before beginning their Earth Science unit.
The iDuck program will still continue, but it is offered as an extra curricular activity instead of as an 8th grade activity classes. Check out our shows from last year at iducknetwork.com! Students use a Handy Dandy Science Notebook (HDSN), which is my version of an "interactive science notebook" for my science classes. All class worksheets and activities are glued into the notebooks along with other information presented and/or discussed in class.
